  • I support parents in improving their child’s educational program—whether that’s an IEP in a public school or an individualized plan in a private setting. I listen carefully to parents’ concerns, help translate them into meaningful goals and supports, and collaborate with families to draft or amend the plan. I also communicate directly with the school to facilitate changes and support implementation, ensuring the program reflects the child’s real needs and works in everyday classroom life—not just on paper.

  • Home support that fits real life. I support parents in carrying out home-based components of therapies—such as ABA, speech and language, or DIR/Floortime—within natural, everyday routines to help them strengthen communication with their child. I focus not only on the child’s skills, but also on how parents communicate. This includes understanding and responding to nonverbal, minimally verbal, or language-delayed children in ways that reduce frustration and build connection.  Research consistently shows that meaningful parent involvement improves both a child’s outcomes and overall family quality of life, and my goal is to help families integrate support into daily life with no pressure, so progress feels sustainable and supportive for everyone.

  • Therapy guidance without overload. I help parents understand assessment reports, identify which therapies their child truly needs, and avoid unnecessary or overwhelming interventions. If a therapy is already in place, I support families in evaluating whether it’s working—and why it may not be. While I don’t create therapy programs, I assess whether existing programs are appropriate and aligned with the child’s needs, and I guide parents in how their involvement can improve outcomes. The focus is always on meaningful, effective support—not more therapy for the sake of therapy.
